Our programmes are made up of music and readings. The programmes all have a theme, and the pieces of music are chosen to fit in with the readings. Some programmes deal with events in the church calendar, including Advent, Christmas, and Easter. Others are of a more secular nature; these include A celebration of summer, The eye of the beholder: a programme for springtime, and The food of love: music and readings on themes of love and romance. Other themes include child welfare, gardens and gardening, and bells of all kinds. The music, which is all unaccompanied, ranges from medieval to modern. Composers include Tallis, Palestrina, Byrd, Sweelinck, Purcell, Bruckner, Saint-Saëns, Rheinberger, Elgar, Vaughan Williams, Kodály, Poulenc, Britten, Tavener, and many more.
